— Mortician/Funeral Director —

Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Homes, Inc. is a family-owned funeral home founded in 1854.  We operate two funeral homes and a crematory.  We are located in Bethesda and Rockville, Maryland and our service area includes the Greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.  We currently serve around 900 families a year.

We are looking for a Mortician/Funeral Director.  Our directors are responsible for all aspects of funeral service including, but not limited to:  making removals, arranging, working visitations, embalming and other preparation, and funeral directing.  We are looking for individuals who are sincere, kind, professional, caring, helpful, committed and someone that places client satisfaction as a top priority.

Directors work a rotating schedule which includes 4 week days and 2 weekends off per month and only 7 days of on-call duty per month.  The benefits package offered for this position would include health insurance, vision, dental and life and disability insurance, quarterly and annual bonuses, a profit sharing plan (totally funded by the company) with a 401k component, and more.
